Aanchal Gupta’s Journey from Building Solo to Making a Positive Difference

Building a business is never without its set of challenges, but with resilience and a strong vision, every setback turns into a success. For years, Aanchal Gupta has envisioned building something of her own. Each time she met with failure and rejection, she rose strong, passionate to bring her vision into reality. At the age of 40, she is a solo founder and a mother of two, bringing the best of both: the hard-earned experience of the older generation and the fresh curiosity of the youngest.

From Aanchal’s perspective, cybersecurity investment is one of the critical ways to have impactful results while delivering strong returns. But regions that are most affected by cybersecurity threats are always the least likely to invest in it, especially nations across Southeast Asia. Envisioning a future that is cyber-resilient, tokenised, and sustainable, and where people can use those tokens for whatever matters to them, she built Agents Stack. 

While starting Agents Stack, Aanchal had one clear vision: solving the largest infrastructure problems across Asia, especially in the non-digitized sectors. She states, “The goal behind building Agents Stack is simple but ambitious: improve the daily lives of frontline workers while fixing fraud-ridden payments and weak fintech infrastructure.” With a team of experts, both young talent and operators who bring years of experience, the company bridges the gap between advisory and deep customization. 

Over the past two years of building Agents Stack, Aanchal realized how crucial sectors like cybersecurity, which are shaping the future, often lack women leaders. She believes cybersecurity is as much a psychological game as a technical one, and diverse teams that include more women provide a strategic advantage over such threats. 

Aanchal comments, “Singapore already demonstrates what progress looks like. Women now hold around 32% of seats in Parliament. Board representation in listed companies is rising, with even stronger numbers on statutory boards. These gains show what is possible when intention meets structure. The same intentionality is now required in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure.

At the same time, significant capital is shifting. Trillions of dollars in wealth and decision-making power are moving toward women over the coming decade. That capital needs strong external advisory support — teams that understand both technology and the real constraints of building in Asia — if it is to fund the next generation of resilient, well-governed companies.
