Changing Lives with Compassion | Jessica “Sunny” Clowdis

“The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your thoughts.” ~Marcus Aurelius

In current times when stress and burnout are becoming an inevitable part of life, taking care of mental health has become more important than ever. And change makers like Jessica “Sunny” Clowdis are here with a vision to ensure that accessing services for mental health wellness is not something distant anymore.

A qualified mental health professional, certified neurodivergent life coach, and an aspiring Mental Health Counselor at Liberty University, Sunny brings great passion to her work.

Currently as the QMHP Clinician at Horizon Behavioral Health, Sunny offers essential services for the adult 23-hour observation, residential stabilization unit, and detox program. She provides direct services to clients in both individual and group settings, which spans from crisis intervention and care coordination to behavior management. In parallel, she is also a clinician helping patients in treatment and discharge planning.

Driven by a simple belief that people need to be understood, her work is dedicated to those who deserve to be seen, heard, and connected with life-changing resources. As a neurodivergent life coach, she reflects a similar approach in her practice. By helping communities to be strengthened, and empowered, she instills hope today for a better tomorrow. With a firm belief in her purpose of bringing hope, compassion, and needed resources for families in all settings, Sunny ensures the concerns of families are protected through hope and compassion

As Jessica “Sunny” Clowdis continues to help her clients feel seen and understood, she is transforming the way we look at mental health, taking one step at a time.
