Roxana’s professional journey began in the United Kingdom after qualifying as an ACCA accountant at just 22 years old. She started her career in finance before venturing into entrepreneurship, establishing a donut manufacturing business that quickly grew into a thriving operation. At its peak, the factory produced up to 14,000 donuts each night, supplying well-known establishments including Harrods, Selfridges, and British Rail. Building and managing a manufacturing business in a highly competitive market demanded strategic thinking, resilience, and innovation. As a young entrepreneur operating in an industry where women were rarely seen in leadership roles, Roxana developed the determination and adaptability that would later define her career.

Despite her success in business, Roxana maintained a strong passion for creative expression and the performing arts. From an early age she had been drawn to theatre, literature, and storytelling, interests that she continued to pursue alongside her entrepreneurial ventures. Over the years she wrote, produced, and performed in several theatrical productions staged across major cultural centres including London, Paris, and Amsterdam. Her work in theatre reflected her belief that creativity and leadership are closely connected, both requiring vision, courage, and the ability to inspire others.

A new chapter unfolded in 2006 when Roxana moved to Dubai, initially planning to step back from business life. However, an unexpected opportunity soon led her into the hospitality sector when she became involved in the development of Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha. Despite having no formal background in engineering or hospitality development, she embraced the challenge wholeheartedly. Roxana worked closely with architects, contractors, and suppliers while overseeing construction decisions, interior design elements, and operational planning. Immersing herself in every detail of the project, she played a key role in transforming the venture into a successful hospitality destination known for its distinctive restaurants and guest experiences.

Beyond her achievements in business, Roxana has built a reputation for her commitment to humanitarian work and social impact. She founded the non-profit organization abc: Advent for Building Human Capital, which focuses on providing education, skills training, and employment opportunities to underprivileged youth. Operating across India and Pakistan, the initiative has helped more than 2,600 young individuals gain access to education and employment pathways, empowering them to build more stable futures. Her work has also extended to collaborations with the United Nations World Food Programme, contributing to global initiatives aimed at addressing hunger and supporting vulnerable communities.

Roxana’s leadership philosophy is rooted in servant leadership, a principle that emphasizes empowering teams and creating environments where people can thrive. She is also the author of A Parallel World, a collection of poetry that explores spirituality, philosophy, and the deeper questions of human existence.
