Katerina Filunets | Opening New Trade Corridors through Russia’s Leading Exhibitions

A visionary leader, Katerina Filunets is currently the General Manager of ITE Group’s Dubai office, where she leads international sales and business development across the Middle East, Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. With extensive experience in global trade promotion and market expansion, Katerina has connected exporters, government bodies, and industry stakeholders to high-impact exhibitions across Russia and the wider Eurasian region.

Organizing some of Russia’s largest and most influential trade exhibitions, including WorldFood Moscow, MosBuild, and RosUpack, Katerina leverages her expertise at ITE Group to build a whole business development ecosystem that connects suppliers with real buyers across Russia and the broader Eurasian region. Alongside their exhibitions, the group runs high-level Summits mid-cycle to keep industry engagement active year-round. ITE Group has also launched Connect, a digital platform helping international companies match with relevant buyers before events, book meetings, and hold back-to-back meaningful conversations during the exhibition.

Holding an MSc in Finance from George Washington University (USA), and an MBA from Cambridge University (UK), she has also completed advanced financial training from Wall Street Prep and the CFA Institute (USA). Katerina’s career is defined by building cross-border partnerships, driving commercial success in emerging markets, and developing inclusive platforms for international collaboration. 

With a vision to strengthen economic bridges between the Global South and Eurasia, empowering SMEs, and women-led businesses, Katerina is even empowering next-generation leaders through access, visibility, and opportunity on the global stage.
