Creating Genuine Connections Through Marketing and Community
Many people view marketing as just selling products and chasing trends. Manahil Ijaz sees it as a way to genuinely connect with people and create meaningful impact.
She graduated right before the pandemic changed the world, moved back to Dubai, and had to navigate a professional landscape that had shifted dramatically. Today, she uses her communications background to help entrepreneurs achieve their visibility goals on social media while exploring creative ways to connect with their target audiences.
After spending more than six years in corporate hospitality, she pivoted into entrepreneurship as a Marketing Consultant, supporting small business owners in developing their brand stories and strengthening their presence in the market. Her work focuses on helping businesses communicate authentically and build lasting connections with their customers.
Alongside her consulting work, she runs Dubai Circle, a community that provides a safe space for individuals to talk about career pressures and discuss their feelings without fear of judgment. She is particularly passionate about making conversations around mental well-being more accessible and is a strong advocate for acceptance and inclusion.
Her community work also includes supporting non-profit initiatives such as FAME, where she helps organize events that give people of determination in the UAE a platform to share their talents, build confidence, and connect with others.
When she is not working with her clients, she writes honestly about life, travels solo to unique destinations around the world, and plans her next creative project. Known for her approachable and genuine nature, Manahil demonstrates that even in a fast-moving city like Dubai, meaningful human connection and empathy remain at the heart of everything she does.
